Biography
A native of Warrenville, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, Ms. Hutchinson has a Bachelor of Music in flute performance and a Master of Arts in music history both from the University of Louisville.  She has pursued post-graduate flute study with Robert Cavally, Walfrid Kujala and Katherine Borst Jones.  Ms. Hutchinson is the instructor of flute at Mel Owen Music in St. Matthews.  She also teaches music history at Jefferson Community and Technical College and the University of Louisville.  She has been instructor of flute and music history at Bellarmine University and also taught music history at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.  A free-lance performer, Ms. Hutchinson has given numerous solo recitals and has played for the Louisville Chorus, Music Theatre Louisville and Derby Dinner Playhouse.
